Job Brief

As a content team coordinator you will be responsible for managing and coordinating with our content writing team of the organization. The role is to manage content, provide guidance to our writers and coordinate with them accordingly. You will be working closely with writers and cross-functional teams of the organization  to ensure that everything is consistent and cohesive.

Job Responsibilities
  • Communicate and provide assistance to our content team that includes both of our in-house writers and remote writers.
  • Create a monthly content calendar and assign tasks to writers in advance. Ensure that everyone in the content team is on the same page.
  • Coordinate with writers to ensure that they understand the content needs, have all the necessary information to write quality content and also timely deliver their tasks which are assigned to them.
  • Develop and monitor the content plan that is in line with our client requirements.
  • Evenly distribute and manage the workload between the team and provide constant guidance to every team member when required.
  • Writing reports on digital advertising campaign performance on a monthly or weekly basis.
  • Monitor performance of all writers and keep track of their task deliveries.
  • Review content submitted by writers and ensure its accuracy.
  • Assist the HR Department in onboarding of new joiners of content writing team. Participate in orientation and provide necessary training.
  • Assist the HR Department in conducting interviews for the content team vacant positions. Analyze candidates as per position requirement and share feedback with the HR department after interviews.
  • Create training material for writers as per requirement.
  • Conduct market research and provide latest updates to the team relating to the content.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree from any HEC recognized university with specialization in English Literature, communication, management or any other related field.
  • Candidate must possess at least 01 year of experience working in the same capacity as a content team coordinator.
  • Proven experience of managing a team.
  • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office.
  • Must have knowledge regarding SEO best practices relating to content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a good command over English language.
  • Eye for detail and a creative mindset.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and work with tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to adapt to new changes and thrive in a fast paced environment.
